guidelines. Ideally, CDC guidelines are developed by a group of multidisciplinary stakeholders, are based on evidence from systematic reviews and expert judgment, and include an assessment of benefits and harms. CDC guidelines should be clear, valid, transparent, reliable, and applicable.
