  1. CDP Choline, its half life, and finding the correct dosage. Discussion. I'm tying myself up in knots trying to start supplementing choline. A week or two ago, there was a post in r/Nootropics which linked Alpha-GPC usage to long-term increased risk of stroke.

  5. I know this is an old post, but I've been having caffeine (a cup or two), 250 mg of CDP-choline, about 100 mg of L-Theanine, and algae-based omega-3 DHA and EPA. For me, it amplifies the effect of the L-Theanine and coffee in a controllable way.

IMO you shouldn't need to take that high of a dose as the studies indicated for attention done in healthy people noted that 250mg was better than 500 mg:

  7. The lone study stating this figure noticed bi-phasic spikes in plasma choline (not cdp-choline) post intake: the much larger of the two at two hours, the smaller, plateued peak at 24 hours. Looks like that second peak of choline was used to determine the 60hr hl of the parent compound cdp-choline.
