Voice over Long-term Evolution (VoLTE) routes voice calls, texts (SMS) and picture (MMS) messages over the 4G LTE network. This allows you to use data while on a call. You may have heard the terms Advanced Calling or HD Voice to refer to this same feature.
3 Ιουν 2022 · If you’re using one of the 9 supported phones, you can enable WiFi calling in the settings. Just go to settings and search for “WiFi Calling”. Once WiFi Calling is enabled, you should see an icon that indicates VoWiFi.
Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Network & Internet’ or a similar option depending on your device > Look for ‘Wi-Fi Calling’ or ‘Wi-Fi Calling Preferences’ and turn it on. Once enabled, you will be able to see an icon on the top of the device screen indicating an active VoWiFi.

24 Απρ 2024 · To turn on Wi-Fi calling, go to Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling. You might need to enter or confirm your address for emergency services. If Wi-Fi Calling is available, you’ll see "Wi-Fi" in the status bar while viewing Control Center.
22 Απρ 2023 · To enable Wi-Fi calling, head to Settings > Phone and tap on the "Wi-Fi Calling" entry. If you don't see a "Wi-Fi Calling" option, your iPhone likely doesn't support it. Conversely, seeing the option to enable Wi-Fi calling doesn't mean your carrier does support it either.
Make calls using Wi-Fi on iPhone. When your iPhone has a low cellular signal, use Wi-Fi Calling to make and receive calls through a Wi-Fi network. Go to Settings > Cellular. If your iPhone has Dual SIM, choose a line (below SIMs). Tap Wi-Fi Calling, then turn on Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone.
