Cellular respiration is the process of taking Oxygen and Glucose and turning it into ATP, energy for the body. In this lecture, that is the topic I deal with.
Cellular respiration oxidizes glucose to release energy to make ATP. In previous tutorials, we’ve compared what happens during the process of combustion (burning a fuel) to what happens in cellular respiration (converting the energy in food into the chemical energy of ATP).
