Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue (CCLRR) was "born" in July 1998 due to the great need to find loving homes for abused, abandoned or unwanted Labrador Retrievers in the Central Valley. We are an all-volunteer organization.
We rescue abandoned, homeless and neglected Labradors from all over central California and beyond. We wish to end suffering and promote the welfare of labs and lab mixes through direct action and education.
Available CCLRR Labs. Find a New Best Friend. We update the list of available dogs as adoptions occur and as new dogs arrive, so please keep checking for the latest information. All dogs listed below are still available unless otherwise noted. If you would like to adopt from CCLRR, please go to the Adopt page to read about our adoption process.
Adopt one of our Labs and help save a Life! Please note: We adopt to homes north to Redding and south to Fresno, and from the S. F. Bay Area south to Monterey County. No Southern California or out of state adoptions with the exception of the Reno-Tahoe area.
Adopting a dog from Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno is a commitment for life. While we will always take a dog back into our care if an adoption should fail, know that we will expect you to do everything in your power to address the problem first, including seeking professional training.
We are an all-volunteer organization. We do not have a central facility or shelter. Our dogs are in foster homes while they receive veterinary care and training before they are adopted. We adopt to homes north to Redding and south to Fresno, and from the S.F. Bay Area south to Monterey County.
