Very Pleasant Multi-Use Trail Along The Snake. Sep 2020. There's lots of bike and walkway mileage you could cover on this greenbelt following both the north and south banks of the Snake River. But the capstone location is really the dam, the sheets of falls, and the opportunity to relax and picnic in the shadow of all this.

The Snake River is a major river in the interior Pacific Northwest region of the United States. About 1,080 miles (1,740 km) long, it is the largest tributary of the Columbia River, which is the largest North American river that empties into the Pacific Ocean.
Snake River Ferry provides pontoon boat rides on the Snake River in downtown Idaho Falls. We rotate boat tours between 2 different runs: the upper falls and the lower falls. Our tours provide a relaxing and enjoyable time on the Snake River as well as some interesting historical facts about the area.
