1 Μαρ 2021 · The Longitude’s cockpit For a pilot coming from larger aircraft, the Longitude’s cockpit can seem a bit small. The fuselage, at its widest point, is 77 inches wide and 72 inches tall. Pilots without previous Citation experience, like me, will be impressed by the large windshields and windows, providing excellent visibility.
The Cessna Citation Longitude is a business jet produced by Cessna, part of the Cessna Citation family. It remains the largest business jet by Cessna. Announced at the May 2012 EBACE, the Model 700 made its first flight on October 8, 2016, with certification obtained in September 2019.
With deliveries started in early 2019, the Cessna Citation longitude has the fuselage cross-section of the Citation Latitude, stretched by a seat row, and it can accommodate up to 12 passengers. Powered by Honeywell HTF7000 turbofans, it has a new swept wing, a T-tail and a MTOW of 17,917 kg (39,500 lb) for a 3,500 nm (6,500 km) range.
