11 Αυγ 2022 · My desktop icons and my recycle bin are no longer on my desktop. I just saved a word document and it does not save to my desktop when I save it to there. How do I get my icons and recycle bin back to my desktop?
I just installed the 21H1 update, followed by the KB5003214 and KN5003252 updates. Now the Date, Time and other icons such as Volume, Wifi etc are all missing from the Taskbar (usually on the right-hand end).
31 Ιουλ 2022 · Solution 18: Set date and time to automatic. Step 1: Right-click on the Date and time widget located at the bottom-right of the screen. Step 2: Select the Adjust time and date option from the context menu. Step 3: Toggle OFF the Set time automatically option and Set time zone automatically option.
I've set up my clock in the system tray to show both time and date. But after a recent update the date is completely gone. I can only see time now. I checked the settings, they are exactly the same as before. I didn't touch anything.

If you run through Windows Update (or in my case an Upgrade to Windows 10 1903) and find all of your desktop icons are missing this is the fix for you:. Verify your desktop icons still exist by checking in C:\USERS\<YourName>\DESKTOP. If your files and shortcuts are safe continue to the next step.
