Chapter 4: Results/Findings Present the data you collected in a clear, organized, and factual manner. Use tables, figures, and any other visuals to illustrate the information you accumulated. DO NOT analyze the data in this section. Chapter 5: Discussion • Analyze and synthesize the results that you have collected. Is this data significant? •
In this chapter, I describe the qualitative analysis of the data, including the practical steps involved in the analysis. A quantitative analysis of the data follows in Chapter 5.
Chapter five of a dissertation is often the hardest dissertation chapter for students to write, but if the learner is excited about the findings presented in chapter four, a clear academic passion is apparent in chapter five.
