26 Φεβ 2016 · These women and many others have inspired and continue to inspire many women to pursue a career in chemistry. Our aim is to provide a clearer picture of what the current status of gender parity is in the sciences and why it is important to discuss it.
Over 80% of the researchers in the Australian Research Council (ARC) Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Green Chemistry in Manufacturing are women, working on projects that range from developing eco-friendly alternatives to harmful chemicals in natural fiber production to creating composite helical car springs for improved performance and reduced pollution (Bontempi et al., 2024).
This journal publishes both field-specific and interdisciplinary contributions on all aspects of biologically relevant chemistry research in the form of full-length original papers, short communications, invited reviews, and commentaries.
