1 Απρ 2021 · There are limited data on the role for chemotherapy in patients > 80 years old with advanced stage non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). We used the National Cancer Database (NCDB) to evaluate treatment patterns and outcomes for patients ≥80 years old with advanced NSCLC.
The patient demographics, the distribution of tumor types, the chemotherapy regimen including single or polychemotherapy, drug types, and survival data were summarized with descriptive statistics. Rates of second cycle chemotherapy delay were compared using Fisher’s exact test (2-sided).
