21 Φεβ 2024 · If you are a non-resident looking to obtain a concealed carry permit in Pennsylvania, you can apply through the county sheriff’s office of any Pennsylvania county.
To locate a county that will issue non-resident permits please see the County-by-County information section of our website. Residents of other states may apply for and receive a non-resident license to carry firearms in Pennsylvania.
In order to renew your License to Carry Firearms, you must complete an application and arrive in person with a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License or Pennsylvania Identification Card at the Sheriff’s Office in the County that you currently reside in.
A person who is 21 years of age or older may apply for a License to Carry Firearms. The license allows individuals to carry a firearm concealed on their body or in a vehicle. The license is valid for five years unless revoked. Submit applications to the sheriff of the county where you live.
If you already have a Concealed Weapons Permit, you do not need to purchase the Sportsman's Pistol Permit. To apply for a pistol permit you must: present a current, valid hunting, fishing, or fur-taking license; or present a permit relating to the use of hunting-dogs.
