The Guitar Repair and Restoration course teaches the essential procedures for a variety of repairs, addressing damage, aging, and wear on any stringed instrument. Students are encouraged to bring as many instruments as they like to work on themselves in the hands-on portion of this course.
17 Ιουν 2009 · The Chicago School of Guitar Making. Since 2005, Specimen has been offering instruction in guitar repair and guitar and tube amplifier building in the form of weekly classes as well as weekend seminars throughout the year.
We teach classes in guitar setup and repair, guitar building, effects pedal building, tube amplifier building and tube amp diagnostics. We are the only school in Chicago where you can learn instrument repair and building from a professional luthier.
