The Community Academy is a community outreach and education program for the residents of Chicago. It gives the community a first hand experience of the Chicago Police Department and the units within the Department.
Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy (CPFTA) courses are for juniors and seniors. Students in this citywide program meet after school every Tuesday and Wednesday during the school year. CPFTA recruits and trains up to 125 public and non-public high school students each year.
1 Ιαν 2024 · The Cook County Sheriff’s Office and the Chicago Police Department invite you to attend the Senior Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academy. The Academy is a six-week program designed to give seniors an overview of the responsibilities of law enforcement agencies in Cook County.
For Senior Cadets, classes 1st (Fall) Semester are held at the Chicago Police Education and Training Academy and 2nd (Spring) Semester classes are held at the Robert J. Quinn Fire Academy.
