13 Νοε 2023 · Chicago's Blue Cart program is the City's largest effort for residential recycling. The Blue Cart program encompasses approximately 625,000 residential units consisting of single family households, multi-family buildings (up to four dwelling units) and city facilities.
If your residential building has 1-4 dwelling units, you can request blue bins for it directly at this 311 link. If your building has 5 or more dwelling units, it is in violation of the city recycling ordinance. You can request an inspection through 311 at this link.
