14 Νοε 2020 · You should give page numbers in Chicago author–date and footnote references when you quote a print source directly. Page numbers are also required in a Chicago bibliography for a source within a container, such as a journal article or a chapter from an edited book.

The second page (first page of text) includes a header with your surname and a page number (starting with the number one). Subsequent pages include headers with your surname and consecutive numbers.
If you use the same source but a draw from different new page, the corresponding note should use “Ibid.” followed by a comma and the new page number(s). In the NB system, the footnote or endnote itself begins with the appropriate full-sized number, followed by a period and then a space.
