Located four miles north of Logan in the heart of West Virginia’s southern coalfields, Chief Logan State Park is one of the most visited facilities in the West Virginia State Parks System. Campers will be surrounded by unmatched outdoor recreation, including biking, hiking, fishing, and swimming.
Camping. Chief Logan State Park’s campground, located at the state park area, is open March through November, with 26 units, 14 of which have full water, sewage and electric hookups. Twelve sites have electric and water only.
