I recently upgraded to at 24 cores i9-13900k, still won't launch. Fortunately, there are ways to make the app think that you have fewer cores.

30 Ιουλ 2015 · I know specifically Child of Light was designed for Vista SP2, Windows 7 and Windows 8 as shown here [support.ubi.com]. Not quite Windows 10. However, for those of you who can't run games in Windows 10, please try running Uplay and Steam in compatability mode as described on the Windows 10 support site here [www.windows10forums.com] .
30 Ιουλ 2015 · I have the steam version of this game, and windows 10, with the latest AMD drivers. Sure there's no crossfire support (screen gets all flickery 'n stuff) but that isn't to blame for win 10. Anywho's, the game runs just fine.
What happens: when I launch the game, a white screen appears, the cursor changes to the Child of Light-style cursor, then the program immediately closes with no warning.
20 Σεπ 2024 · For the tool: Search the web for adk-install (direct links might give old versions), look for "Download and install the Windows ADK", select the correct version for your operating system (Windows 10/11), ignore the PE download. Run the program and ONLY install the application compatibility toolkit. To apply the fix:
