Build Structure can generate atomic structures “from scratch” or modify existing molecules. The Build Structure tool builds and modifies atomic structures. The equivalent commands are build, torsion, bond, and angle. Subcommands of build correspond to sections of the Build Structure tool: build start – generate a new molecule not bonded to existing atoms. build modify – change an existing atomic structure. build join – add a covalent bond between two atomic models to form a single model. build invert – swap substituents, potentially changing chirality.
