Georgios Vlachos. 2017. The objective of this paper is to introduce readers to the perspective of a particular icon, namely the nativity of Jesus Christ, with the hope that a viewer's understanding will increase.
My flaws are far too visible. But God believes I am worth it. When I say that "I am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say that "I am a Christian," I'm not holier than thou. I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!
Lord Jesus, I want to trust you from now on. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person You want me to be. Thank you for enabling me to trust you in these uncertain times ...
When I say, “I am a Christian,” I don’t speak of this with pride; I’m confessing that I stumble And need someone to be my guide. When I say, “I am a Christian,” I’m not trying to be strong; I’m professing that I’m weak And pray for strength to carry on.
6 Νοε 2013 · I’m not shouting, “I’m clean living.”. I’m whispering, “I was lost, Now I’m found and forgiven.”. When I say…”I am a Christian.”. I don’t speak of this with pride. I’m confessing that I stumble. And need Christ to be my guide. When I say…”I am a Christian.”. I’m not trying to be strong.
8 Οκτ 2008 · I’m professing that I’m weak and pray for strength to carry on. When I say, “I am a Christian,” I’m not bragging of success. I’m admitting that I’ve failed and cannot ever pay the debt. When I say, “I am a Christian,” I don’t think I know it all. I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught.
