26 Μαρ 2020 · I’ve got a 1971 350 motor that I want to get some more power out of right now, it’s already got duel exhaust but that’s really the only “performance” system on it. I’d like to get a new intake manifold and maybe new exhaust heads but i don’t know where to look.
The Cessna Citation Mustang (Model 510), was a Very Light Jet (VLJ) designed to compete with the then new breed of VLJs from Piper, Embraer and Eclipse Aviation. The Mustang, in standard configuration, has four passenger seats in the aft cabin, a toilet and seating for two in the cockpit.
The jet’s efficient performance traits are a result of its two Pratt and Whitney Canada PW615F turbofan engines, producing 1,350 pounds of thrust each. Although Raytheon was the PW615F’s original launch customer, Citation recognized the engine’s potential and delivered it first in the Mustang.

29 Δεκ 2022 · A pre-owned Cessna Citation Mustang averages between $1 million and $1.5 million depending on its age and condition. It is powered by two FADEC-fitted Pratt & Whitney 615F engines that produce 1,690 lbs of thrust each, burning 95 gallons per hour. At FL410 it cruises at 340 KTAS.
The Mustang was Cessna’s first “clean sheet” design since the CJ 15 years prior and offers a great entry into the jet world. Cruise fuel burns can be as low as 75 gal / hr with a ceiling of 41,000 feet. Operating costs are often less than competing single engine turboprops.
