Unlike its more powerful Citation competitors like the M2, the Mustang’s Pratt & Whitney engines are sensitive to non-standard temperatures aloft. Cruising in ISA+ 5 conditions or warmer will have a noticeable effect on performance.
29 Δεκ 2022 · Engine. The Cessna Citation Mustang uses a pair of Pratt and Whitney Canada 615F engines. When on the Mustang, the 615Fs are flat-rated for 1,460 pounds of take-off thrust to ISA +8 degrees.

Its powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW615F full FADEC turbofan engines delivering 1460 pounds of thrust each. TBO is 3500 hours. With the benefits of FADEC arresting start-up overtemps, we predict TBO will rise with service experience.
The Cessna Citation Mustang is a very light jet that was built by Cessna. Launched at the 2002 NBAA convention, the Model 510 first flew on April 23, 2005. It received its FAA type certification on September 8, 2006, and was first delivered on November 22.
