What's happening: As of July 19, 2021, KDOL stopped depositing funds to Bank of America debit card accounts. Your Bank of America card account will remain active until January 23, 2022. What you need to do: Prior to January 23, 2022, you may continue to use your card. If your card expires after December 9, 2021 it will not be reissued.
Here’s how the cards will work: Once Kansas Department of Labor approves your benefits claim, Bank of America will create an account in your name. Between the dates of June 25, 2021 and July 20, 2021, claimants will continue to receive approved KDOL unemployment benefit payments on the Bank of America debit card. Any remaining funds on the Bank of America debit card will not be transferable to the new ReliaCard.

15 Ιουλ 2021 · Kansans who receive unemployment benefits on a Bank of America MasterCard will soon have to transfer to a new debit card because the state changed service providers.
Now, the Department sends all unemployment payment details to Citi, which loads the payment amounts on claimants’ prepaid cards. During the first five years of the program, $4 billion in unemployment benefits payments were loaded onto more than 367,000 debit cards.
