Batavia residents will have two opportunities to dispose of their live Christmas trees. Trees will be picked up for free on residents’ garbage days during the weeks of Jan. 1 and Jan. 8 by Groot, the City’s waste hauler.
Garbage / Refuse. Batavia residents are required by ordinance to have refuse and recycling services. The City of Batavia's contracted vendor through June 30, 2028 is Groot Industries. Contract Groot at at batavia@groot.com, or visit groot.com, or call 630-892-9294.
