Experience with outdoor recreation based programming (archery, bicycling, canoeing, etc.) Comfortable using hand tools and performing outdoor work such as trail maintenance and habitat management.
This position will be designed according to the needs and interests of the intern and the Fridley Parks and Recreation Department. A typical work week will consist of 32-40 hours (May -August, flexible starting date) including day and evening hours, as well as some weekend hours.
Coordinates program schedules and activities with the schools, county, youth associations, related agencies, and other City departments. Coordinates scheduling of parks and recreation facilities with the City Parks Maintenance Division.
