A well-resourced animal services agency is important to the public's health and safety within any community, including Fort Bend County. Animal services agencies are the front line in controlling animal bites that have the possibility of transmitting rabies.
What to do if you Encounter a Wild Animal. If you have a wild animal inside living areas of your home, such as a bedroom, call 311. If you have a wild animal or reptile in your yard, in the vicinity of your home or where you are, it is not necessary to call BARC. Respect the animal and give it plenty of space.
