The City’s solid waste management system provides for safe and reliable solid waste services at competitive prices for residential and commercial customers. Curbside solid waste, yard waste, and recycling collection services are contracted through Sunshine Disposal and Recycling, Inc. ("Sunshine").

Residents of the City of Lewiston and those Nez Perce County residents on the County Solid Waste Collection System can dispose of additional household trash and bulky waste items year round at the Lewiston Transfer Station at no additional charge.

1 Νοε 2021 · The City of Lewiston would like to remind residents about yard waste collection. Beginning November 1st, customers can use plastic bags for leaves and yard waste so long as they do not exceed 35 lbs. For the months of November and December, yard waste will continue to be collected weekly.
Roll Off Truck/Bin Service: We offer 30 & 40 Yard Construction Bins for construction debris. Please call 208-746-8243 for pricing and availability. This service is for Lewiston and the immediate surrounding areas. There is a $200.00 Deposit unless you are an existing customer in good standing.
