If you own and occupy property as your primary residence as of January 1, 2025, you may qualify for an exemption. The deadline to file a 2025 exemption application is March 1, 2025.
The Property Appraiser maintains the ownership, mailing address, and legal description, and determines the value of property in Orange County. The Property Appraiser’s Office also determines exemptions for Homestead, Disability, Widows, Veterans and many others.
