The Public Works Department is in charge of trash/sanitary pickup, snow removal/plowing, street & sign maintenance, leaf collection, mosquito fogging, street sweeping, sidewalk repair, limited storm water repairs, levee maintenance/inspection, and the maintenance of City-owned property.
The City of Valley Park is proud of the sanitation services that are offered to our residents. In an effort to keep the costs low while still providing an excellent service, some changes were made to the sanitation invoices. Please see the photo below for assistance with understanding the new billing format.
SANITATION DEPARTMENT. PICKUP TIMES AND HOLIDAYS. All trash must be out for pick up by 7:00 a.m. The City of Valley Park observes these dates as holidays. If a holiday falls on your scheduled pickup day, your trash will be picked up on the next regular working day.
