14 Απρ 2016 · I downloaded Civil War Generals 2 from a website, unzipped it all, and even downloaded the no cd patch. However, no matter where i download the patch, it always asks me for the disk, which i dont have.
13 Νοε 2016 · I'm talking about Sierra's Civil War Generals II - it was the best Civil War game / engine I ever found and I still love it and still play it! (Found patches that enables it to work on Windows 7 - I will keep it forever as long as fans keep it working on new Win/OS platforms).
30 Μαρ 2024 · The Sierra Help site (not an official Sierra site) has repackaged the original patch into a format compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 for 64-bit machines. It's the last patch on the page. Simply download, extract and follow the install instructions. You would install this in your Civil War Generals 2 game folder.
I found the game needed to be patched to 1.04, and so I found a patch that would work with 64-bit Windows. Now my issue is, after another battle, I can't click on any scroll bars in game. I click it, and nothing happens.

Civil War Generals II (CWG29514) (EXE file) [633 KB] This update will patch only the 1.03 version of Civil War Generals 2. Games played over the World Opponent Network (WON) will now automatically record scores, and the AI now always follows the line of sight rule.
In this turn-based Civil War extravaganza, hex squares are equal to about 200 yards across, thus making it evident right away that you'll be controlling your units at a very low level of detail. Each daylight turn is the equivalent of roughly a half an hour of real time battle.
