Reemployment Assistance benefits, also known as unemployment compensation, provides temporary assistance to qualified people who are out of work through no fault of their own. Use the Reconnect system to apply for these benefits online. All people who apply for benefits are called claimants and must have a Reemployment Assistance account.

Claims for Benefits. An unemployed worker may receive information for filing a claim for benefits at any local CareerSource Florida Center operating under your area’s Regional Workforce Board, or by visiting the website for the Department of Commerce at. floridajobs.org. All claims must be filed online.
