Quick set-up. Once you've set-up your hammock a few times, you should be able to run this process in just a few minutes. To some degree this depends on which model you choose however; models like the NX-250 use fiberglass poles for rain fly, which means a slightly quicker set-up than with the North American model's wires.

I am a South Florida resident and have been camping a Clark tropical jungle hammock for quite a few years. I am currently in the early planning stages of doing an Appalachian Trail thru hike. I am planning on using a Clark nx - 170 hammock for this trip but I am curious as to the under quilt and the top quilt system.
10 Φεβ 2010 · You can have two hammocks setup in very close proximity so that the rain fly "awnings" overlap to make a very large awning/dry area, and have the hammock openings facing each other so you can talk and see each other.
