9 Σεπ 2016 · Examining the literature, few studies provide data on the rate and time of return to sports activity following clavicle fractures. The aim of this review is to provide an overview of the return rates and times to sport for these injuries.
11 Ιαν 2023 · Over 1000 professional baseball players who underwent shoulder surgery were included in the 26 articles, and enough studies reported RTP and RTPP data after labral repair, LD/TM repair, RCD, RCR, and SLAP repair to enable a meta-analysis for these procedures.
There was no difference in time loss based on participating in collision vs. noncontact sports (P = .4). Conservatively managed fractures returned to sport faster (61 ± 38 days vs. 100 ± 49 days; P = .008) compared with surgically managed patients.
Growing points: Operative management of displaced mid-shaft fractures offers improved return rates and times to sport compared to non-operative management. Suture fixation and non-acromio-clavicular joint (ACJ)-spanning plate fixation of displaced lateral fractures show promising results.
22 Απρ 2021 · Our results show that adolescent athletes managed following best practice guidelines for clavicular fractures provide predictable return to athletics including collision sports. Athletes conservatively managed returned 40% faster than those with surgery.

16 Οκτ 2018 · There was one re-fracture in the non-operative group that ultimately underwent operative fixation. There were no complications in the operative group. The average time from injury to return to sport was 65 days in the operative group and 97.6 days in the non-operative group.
