I can't speak for the food as the wait was too long for us, but it smelled good and we wish we had stayed. They are known for their pies.

The Cliff House has luxurious amenities, like heated toilet seats and weighted bathrobes, that add a touch of comfort one craves when spending time away from their own home. The staff was friendly and accommodating, though we did experience some difficulty with the a/c in our room.
I give the Cliff House Inn 5 stars because of the location ((you can't get closer to the ocean without getting wet!), ambiance, friendly staff and the fact that it is so close to my home that I use it as my own beach house. The location just off the 101 freeway puts a lot of people off.
