An M9.4 solar flare was observed at 12:06 UTC (Nov 10) around Earth facing AR 3889. A type II radio emission with an estimated velocity of 928 km/s was recorded. Somewhat of a coronal mass ejection (CME) is now visible and appears to be headed mostly to the south.

Coronal Mass Ejections, or CMEs, are explosive bursts of solar plasma and magnetic field that fly away from the Sun at thousands of kilometers an hour. CMEs are frequently (but not always) associated with solar flares.
