I am looking to purchase a cnc router from china and I am reading those posts about this scam with great concern. Iam considering using a LC letter of credit, and they shouldnt get paid until I receive the product and inspect it.

12 Φεβ 2023 · I won't say all Chinese companies are cheats but there are enough that it is not a small risk. I've heard of over spec/under deliver situations. Claim name brand components and ship counterfeit or knockoffs in their place. The specs on the UA-481 are super impressive but that raises red flags to me.
