A novel sorbent consisting of Mg(OH) 2 was developed for carbon dioxide (CO 2) capture at 200−315 °C suitable for CO 2 capture applications such as coal gasification systems.
25 Αυγ 2019 · In the first step, Mg (OH) 2 crystals with two morphologies, flower-like and plate-like, were obtained by mixing MgCl 2 and NH 3 ·H 2 O with different methods. In the second step, MgCO 3 ·3H 2 O crystals were crystallized by flowing CO 2 to the two types of Mg (OH) 2.
