9 Απρ 2023 · Before trying to “jump” the starter batteries, I suggest you at least try the “boost” switch that will connect the house batteries to the cranking batteries. The switch is momentary, so you need to hold it down and give it a minute or so before trying the key to start.
20 Απρ 2021 · I recently used the shut offs for both the chassis and coach batteries and came back in two weeks and the coach batteries were dead. I am doing something wrong but don't know what. Any suggestions.
16 Απρ 2018 · When I had a class A I had fuses under the hood and also above my left foot. There should be a relay near the batteries that the switch controls. Follow the positive cable and you should find it.
17 Σεπ 2024 · If your RV batteries are dying and you are convinced it’s not due to usage, then you should turn your attention to the state of the batteries themselves. Testing with a multimeter or hooking up a battery monitor will give you a better understanding of their current charge level and performance.
1 Μαΐ 2024 · Your house batteries are not supplying any 12v power. That could be as simple as the House (aka AUX) battery switch is in the OFF position or a variety of other things such as a blown main fuse, a loose wire, bad batteries, or a faulty battery disconnect relay (always off).
27 Ιουν 2021 · The first thing to do when your RV’s battery dies is to ascertain if both the coach and chassis batteries are dead or just one of them. It must be said that batteries do die, and with preventative and maintenance care you will be able to lessen the consequences.
12 Αυγ 2023 · If your lights only work when your RV is connected to shore power, there's a chance your coach battery is dead. In this situation, the converter charger is the only thing powering the 12-volt systems.
