The worst startup side-effects were a headache for three days, two days of sleepiness and fatigue, itching all over for two days (it wasn’t bad), and minor sweating for a day. After that, the only problem that didn’t go away was early morning awakening.

My first week and a bit on 5mg Escitalopram. For some back story, I was prescribed 20mg of jamp-escitalopram, told to start at 10mg. Medications freak me out so I asked to start at 5mg and have been taking 5mg at 11 am every day. I struggle with general/ social anxiety and mild depression.
