8 Νοε 2017 · Buy some aluminum angle stock, and bolt that to the inside of the hull at the same height you want your new seat to be (you’ll have one piece of angle stock on each side). The horizontal section of the angle stock that sticks out from the hull will be the platform to support your new seat.

I've had a Coleman 17 foot Ram X since 1981 ( 22 years ). I found it durable, heavy, stable, and capable of carrying 2 adults, a kid, and lots of gear: 3 adults in a pinch on friendly lakes. Easy to load too- a real plus- ever tried stuffing packs under triple thwarts? It works great on the Canadian Shield lake country weekend stuff we do.
9 Αυγ 2023 · Paddle it… pole it… troll it… and add up to 5 hp motor. Wide aft provides more stability for more passengers and cargo. Narrow bow lets it move out on a stretch of fast water or sneak into a cove.
I'm trying to mount an electric trolling motor to my coleman ram-x canoe. The frame is aluminum and doesn't have a lot of overhang. I was wondering if anyone else has mounted a bracket to this type of canoe and can tell me what kinds of mounting options I can use.
