5 Αυγ 2015 · 1911 Colt 38 Super El Series Info & Stats This wasn't easy to find and thought it worth sharing since the topic of the EL Series 38 Supers comes up now and again. This is the most complete information regarding these special edition weapons sold by Lew Horton.
Colt 38 Super El Jefe Supremo. This is a Lew Horton Special edition manufactured in 1999 and it has a very low serial number of 67 out of only 350 made. Features a full bright stainless slide and frame with a fire blue hammer, trigger, slide stop, magazine release, thumb safety, and grip screws.
Caliber: .38 Super. Action Type: Single Action Semi-Automatic Pistol with Removable Magazine. Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “GOVERNMENT MODEL”, the left is marked “El Jefe Supremo” with rampant colt. The right of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / ELJF303”.
