Caliber: .38 Super. Action Type: Single Action Semi-Automatic Pistol with Removable Magazine. Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “GOVERNMENT MODEL”, the left is marked “El Jefe Supremo” with rampant colt. The right of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / ELJF303”.
Colt 38 Super El Jefe Supremo. This is a Lew Horton Special edition manufactured in 1999 and it has a very low serial number of 67 out of only 350 made. Features a full bright stainless slide and frame with a fire blue hammer, trigger, slide stop, magazine release, thumb safety, and grip screws.
