21 Δεκ 2016 · I recently found a NIB Colt 22, formerly called the Cadet, as a gift for my wife. Upon our first range session when I pried it out of her hands I was impressed at how nice a pistol it is. This is also Colts only striker fired rimfire pistol which is rather neat.
29 Ιουν 2020 · These guns will let you shoot .22 LR or .22 WMR, in case you want to step up to the hotter stuff for small game or even self-defense. They won’t win any competitions and you have to reload every six shots, but fun doesn’t come any cheaper, as most models go for $300 or less — a lot less — in stores.
17 Δεκ 2016 · Shooting the Colt 22 is a real pleasure, it's accurate with a good trigger. I would take this pistol over a Ruger Mark 1,2,3 or 4, or a S&W Victory and several other makes. Maybe someday Colt will get into the rimfire market again, and I don't include those Umarex marketed Colts.

16 Μαΐ 2024 · In the 1990s Colt came out with a .22 rimfire pistol. It was no doubt intended to compete with the ultra popular Ruger .22 pistols and be an affordable plinking and target pistol. The Cadet was the shorter barrel version with fixed sights. The gun had a heavy barrel and it was accurate.
26 Νοε 2021 · I took the wife's Colt 6" Target Model 22, (Cadet) out yesterday for the first time in years. Am wondering if we have the only one example of this model in which the trigger pull seems quite heavy for a target pistol? Are there any replacement springs, or is there a recommended trigger job ?
