30 Ιουν 2024 · To set up your new Comcast email account using IMAP, follow these steps: Open your email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird). Navigate to the option to add a new account. Enter your name, Comcast email address (e.g., username@comcast.net), and password. Choose IMAP as the account type.
Select Add new (IMAP) account from the menu. When prompted, enter your Comcast mail address and password and hit submit. Now, you should separate POP and IMAP accounts from Comcast. 💡 Note: Before you delete your POP account, ensure that any emails or folders you want to save move into your new IMAP account.
19 Φεβ 2024 · I've tried to setup my Comcast.net email on the New Outlook for a few days without success. Ran across this on xfinity's website, followed the directions to allow access and was successful adding the account to the New Outlook.
