They have a round, squat shape and a smooth, creamy texture that melts in the mouth. Their skin ranges from green to a red blush as they mature.
There are ten varieties of USA Pears each with its own distinctive color, flavor, and texture. With overlapping seasons of availability, USA Pears are in season nearly year-round!

25 Μαρ 2022 · 5. Comice ‘Comice’ fruits are sweet and succulent with a firm texture. The light green skin has a rosy blush and a plump silhouette. The aromatic flesh is buttery and delicious for fresh eating, and this cultivar makes a good choice for canning or baking as well. Fruits last up to three months in cold storage.
