In this series on Communion, I have given much attention to Why: the love of God. Commun-ion also reveals to us the mystery of God’s purpose: the How. The How is Christ, the mystery of the ages. Mystery in the Biblical use of the word means something which was hidden, but is to be revealed at the proper time.
Communion Meditation. Jesus asks, “What is the Kingdom of Heaven like?” The kingdom of heaven is a tiny seed, that grows wild-- giving shelter and shade to every living thing in the garden. The kingdom of heaven is yeast -- it starts small and rises, making enough bread to feed the neighborhood.

ADORATION. During this period there may be appropriate prayers, songs, readings from scripture, and a brief homily to help the congregation focus its attention to the worship of the Lord. It is important to remember that the Eucharist is the "Real Presence" of Jesus Christ.
