9 Μαρ 2023 · I need some oil - have decided on Shell Rotella due to local availability. Question is T4 (oil), T5 (synthetic blend), or T6 (synthetic)? My inclination was T6 but I came across this YouTube review and looks like T5 might be a better choice.
15 Οκτ 2017 · Was at Rural King yesterday and grabbed a 5 gal bucket of Rotella 15w-40, was thrown off a little because it was a yellow bucket instead of white and a different label than what T4 normally is. As i was checking out i realized it was T5 and not T4, but rang up as T4 at $59.

Rotella T6 is a 15W-40 viscosity oil and is better for engines that are subjected to extreme temperatures and need the added protection of a higher viscosity oil.
