I am on the verge of relocating to Lafayette, LA and have been eyeing the many of the apartment complexes. However, while scrolling through various reviews, I've stumbled upon mixed ratings regarding the police, staff at apartment complexes, and a few other factors which are making me a bit apprehensive.
According to user reviews on BestPlaces, Lafayette is a great place to live for those seeking a balance between small-town charm and big-city amenities. One user, Sarah, describes it as a "hidden gem" and praises the friendly locals and abundance of festivals and events.
Moving to this area, I am doing research on 1B/2B apartments. Here are some of what I have found. Does anyone has positive and/or negative experience with these places (or heard from something else)?

5 Ιουν 2020 · We stayed at the Buckhorn Lodge with 14 people. We genuinely had a great time. We had 8 adults and 6 kids ranging in ages from 9 months to 13 years old. The kids loved the pool. A few things, two couches for a house that sleeps 18 seems like an oversight.
Cypress Villa #8 is nestled in the heart of Concan. This cabin is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Outside, you will find a patio complete with fire pit, BBQ pit and picnic table. Discounted rates do not include special events and holidays. Minimum night/rate requirements apply.
