Throughout the past 45 years since its enactment, the Constitution of 1975 has been revised four times. SECTION I. The Form of Government. Article 1. The form of government of Greece is that of a parliamentary republic. Popular sovereignty is the foundation of government. All powers derive from the People and exist for the People and the Nation; they shall be exercised as specified by the Constitution. Article 2.
