On the title screen you should be able to input the code “up up down down left right left right B A start” when the game starts it should say 30x lives. Here’s the thing - the ABXY buttons may not be mapped exactly A=A and B=B to the NES controller, so the code may be either of the following:
3 Μαΐ 2020 · It's a cheat code that Konami put in most of their early games. Its: up up down down left right left right a b start. In the NES version of Contra, it gives you 30 lives. Or at least it should, but I can't get it to work with this collection.
28 Φεβ 2020 · Contra (NES): Enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A then Start (or Select, Start for two players) on the title screen, and you'll get 30 extra lives. Gyruss (NES): If you enter the Konami Code in reverse order at the title screen (A, B, Right, Left, Right, Left, Down, Down, Up, Up), you'll get 30 extra lives.
